Job summary

Snowflake is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to strengthen the security backbone of the Data Cloud. You will design and implement critical AI security capabilities, enterprise identity frameworks, and end-to-end encryption across a native multi-cloud environment.

You will collaborate with PM, design, and engineering teams to reduce friction while maintaining safety, with responsibilities spanning code reviews, on-call rotations, and scalable security infrastructure.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, Golang, or Rust with strong SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI security capabilities for secure agentic enterprise adoption.
• Develop identity and access management systems: authentication, SSO, MFA, OAuth/OIDC, SAML, SCIM, RBAC.
• Build security infrastructure: secret and key management, service identity, end-to-end encryption across multi-cloud.
• Create security tooling to monitor, enforce, and detect policy violations; enable secure-by-default engineering.
