Job summary

Snowflake is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Identity, Data Security and Trust group. You will help design and implement AI security capabilities, build scalable identity systems, and ensure end-to-end encryption across a multi-cloud environment.

Qualifications

5+ years designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems in production cloud environments.
Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, systems design.
Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, Golang, or Rust with solid SQL skills.
Experience shipping and on-call production services with emphasis on availability and observability.

Responsibilities

Design and implement critical AI security capabilities—including agent workflows, server-client security, and admin guardrails.
Build and evolve identity and access management systems with authentication protocols and RBAC at scale.
Develop security infrastructure spanning secret management, key management, and end-to-end encryption across multi-cloud environments.
Create security tooling to monitor, enforce, and detect policy violations, promoting secure-by-default engineering.
Design extensible platform components for security detectors, responders, and visualizations in Snowflake’s Trust Center.
Contribute to benchmarks and analytics for threat detection, attribution, and response.
