Job summary

Happen Bank seeks a Principal IAM Engineer to lead the design and evolution of its enterprise identity security capabilities. You will guide secure access for employees, contractors, apps, cloud platforms, and non-human identities while shaping AI-assisted identity engineering.

You will mentor teams, set standards, and drive large cross-functional initiatives across SailPoint, Okta, AD, AWS, Terraform, and Delinea Secret Server in a hybrid San Francisco environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IAM, Information Security or Security Engineering.
• Deep expertise in identity lifecycle management and access governance.
• Hands-on experience with Delinea Secret Server.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale identity architectures.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and AI-assisted development.
• Experience in regulated environments and audits.
• Knowledge of SOX, FFIEC, OCC, PCI DSS, NIST, least privilege.

Responsibilities

• Define technical direction and standards for identity security.
• Design scalable identity solutions across SailPoint, Okta, AD, AWS, Terraform, GitHub.
• Own privileged access management lifecycle with Delinea Secret Server.
• Build automation and AI-assisted workflows with governance controls.
• Mature non-human identity capabilities and service accounts.
• Lead complex identity initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate emerging identity security capabilities and AI adoption.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards.
