Job summary

Summit Midstream seeks a Lead Level I&E Technician to install and maintain electrical power circuits and control systems across pipeline facilities and compressor stations. You will ensure safe operation, perform diagnostics, and support project upgrades in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, I&M checks, and documentation. DOT and safety compliance are essential, with potential overtime and opportunities for growth within the company’s field operations.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent. Technical trade school or apprenticeship in instrumentation preferred.
• Five years maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems used in natural gas processing.
• Must read and interpret safety procedures, blueprints, P&IDs, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate a range of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, compressors, drivers, and auxiliary equipment.
• Conduct I&M checks on control systems and ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
• Mentor coworkers and ensure documentation is completed for all duties.
• Oversee third-party construction and maintenance activities and manage safety training.
