Job summary

Summit Midstream Corporation in the United States seeks an instrumentation technician to maintain site process instrumentation and electrical systems on midstream assets. You will diagnose issues, calibrate devices, and install upgrades, working with minimal supervision.

The role requires knowledge of PLCs, DCS, and HMI systems; ability to lift 50 lbs; overtime and shift flexibility; and a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; graduation from technical trade school preferred.
• Journeyman electrical designation highly preferred.
• 5 years maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems in natural gas processing recommended.

Responsibilities

• Test, calibrate, configure and repair electronic I/P converters, positioners and transmitters.
• Install and maintain PLC, DCS, RTU, HMI systems.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine root causes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and drawings per regulatory and company standards.
• Ensure safety and environmental policies are followed.
