Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead Instrumentation and Control (I&C) activities for a portfolio serving the Southern Nuclear customer. You will report to the Program Manager, Southern Nuclear IC Portfolio, with a hybrid work setup from Warrendale, PA and relocation assistance available within the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline.
• Prior relevant technical and/or project management experience
• Strong technical knowledge of collaborative data management, automation, and formatting techniques using Microsoft applications
• Experience developing and implementing scope, schedule and budget plans to successful completion
• Familiarity with PMI PMBOK; should possess an interest in pursuing PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other approved equivalent, but not required for the role
• Experience with the commercial nuclear industry and business acumen preferred
• Ability to travel to customer sites periodically for meetings, walkdowns, or emergent support

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all project management processes on low or medium complexity projects, or assisting the lead project manager on high complexity project processes.
• Coordinate resource planning activities, schedule status and modifications, and provide monthly reporting to internal stakeholders for projects.
• Coordinate project updates with internal leadership for the Southern Nuclear IC project team
• Working with Project Engineers, system leads, and managers to develop and oversee project data in a collaborative environment using Microsoft applications,
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk, resources, and communications.
• Document learning and best practices using the CAP program.
• Cultivate relationships with teams and project stakeholders in a matrix environment to facilitate successful project completion and identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
• Support financial planning through accurately tracking and forecasting spending.
