Job summary

Black & Veatch is hiring a Senior I&C Engineer to lead instrumentation, control and automation design for water and wastewater projects in Florida. You will coordinate with the local design team, client and remote teams, and take overall responsibility for I&C design efforts on large multi-discipline projects.

The role requires 11+ years in I&C, active licensure or ability to obtain, and strong leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum 11 years of related work experience in I&C.
• Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR).
• Florida Professional Engineering license or the ability to attain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead I&C design for automation, instrumentation and SCADA on water and wastewater projects.
• Coordinate with local design teams, clients and remote teams.
• Attend client and contractor meetings, and participate in field investigations and factory acceptance testing.
• Manage project schedules and budgets; assist with proposals and presentations.
