Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced I&C Engineer to lead and support control systems projects for nuclear power clients. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines, develop technical docs, and oversee budgets and proposals to ensure client satisfaction.

The role emphasizes leadership, design execution, and the use of modern tools while advancing digital modernization in nuclear facilities.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 10+ years of experience in I&C Design Engineering.
• Ability to clearly communicate in speech and writing.
• Knowledge of available equipment and pre-engineered systems to execute designs.
• Experience as a client liaison and in reviewing design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support controls projects with focus on technical execution and project management.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines to complete projects.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide variety of controls engineering issues.
• Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and studies for client requirements.
• Manage resources, loading and develop estimates for tasks and budget.
• Support proposal development and vendor interface, including FAT witness.
• Prepare and review diagrams and drawings for control solutions.
