Job summary

The role requires mentoring other engineers, planning and scheduling, and strong communication with management, regulatory bodies, and teams across the enterprise. Relocation is supported; open to qualified candidates in Shreveport or Hallsville.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree in ABET-accredited engineering.
• 2 years of related engineering experience with a Master's or PhD in engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) encouraged and preferred.
• Alternative: Bachelor's in engineering (non-ABET) + Master's or PhD in engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• VP or above may waive the degree requirement for non-ABET accredited programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a leader within the organization applying advanced engineering knowledge.
• Lead, coordinate and mentor engineers while ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
• Participate in planning, budgeting and scheduling using CPM/PERT.
• Identify and resolve complex problems with incomplete data and diverse inputs.
• Prepare and present reports on technical subjects to management and regulatory bodies.
• Lead meetings and foster collaboration across disciplines.
• Understand interrelationships between systems and equipment and interpret codes/regulations.
