Job summary

International Executive Service Corps seeks a Principal Engineer - I&C Design Engineer to support a federal government client in Aiken, SC. The role requires ten years of direct I&C design experience in nuclear or process industries and expertise with PLCs and DCS systems.

You will lead complex engineering tasks, provide guidance to junior staff, and ensure quality through careful planning, scheduling and coordination with the client. U.S.

Qualifications

• Ten years of direct I&C design experience (last 15 years) in nuclear or process chemical industry.
• Experience with process control instrumentation, PLCs, and distributed control systems.
• Proficiency with MicroStation 2D CADD tooling.
• Willingness to perform weekly field walk-downs at job sites.

Responsibilities

• Define scope of technical programs and develop effective, quality solutions for complex problems.
• Provide guidance to less senior professionals on related tasks.
• Lead in solving complex problems with advanced technical practices and new materials or processes.
• Prepare reports and recommendations based on program evaluations.
• Develop schedules, budgets and resources for technical tasks.
• Communicate results to customers, colleagues and management.
