Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Principal Engineer / Technical Support Specialist for on-site work in Aiken, SC to support nuclear operations and maintenance programs within a regulated DOE environment. This senior technical role leads maintenance initiatives, develops and executes schedules, resolves complex technical issues, and mentors junior staff while ensuring compliance with DOE orders and conduct of operations.

Qualifications

• Active DOE L or Q clearance preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support for nuclear operations and maintenance programs.
• Develop, review, and execute maintenance-related programs and procedures.
• Assist with resolving complex technical and operational issues.
• Develop and administer schedules and performance requirements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technical personnel.
• Ensure compliance with DOE maintenance and conduct of operations requirements.
• Collaborate with site operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to support facility objectives.
