Job summary

OnQCx is seeking an experienced I&C / BMS Construction Manager to oversee installation, integration, and commissioning of instrumentation & controls and building management systems on a large-scale, mission-critical project.

You will manage subcontractors, ensure quality and safety standards, and drive successful turnover of critical control systems on-site. Strong background in data centers or similar facilities is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience focused on controls, automation, and building systems.
• Experience on data centers, semiconductor fabs, or advanced manufacturing projects.
• Strong knowledge of I&C and BMS platforms such as Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, Tridium Niagara.
• Ability to read P&ID, control schematics, and mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project for project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site supervision of subcontractors for I&C devices and BMS infrastructure.
• Coordinate interfaces between process utilities, electrical/mechanical systems, and IT/OT networks.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Conduct daily walkdowns, inspections, and progress monitoring for I&C and BMS scopes.
• Support functional testing, loop checks, and commissioning activities.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, redlines, and as-built documentation for I&C/BMS systems.
• Partner with design teams and client representatives to resolve technical issues.
• Track and report progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to project leadership.
• Promote a safety-first culture with strict adherence to site EHS requirements.
