Advantage Technical is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent - Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) / Building Management Systems (BMS) to support a large-scale data center construction project in Childress, TX. The temporary role oversees field operations, coordinates subcontractors, manages schedules, and ensures safety and quality on complex industrial projects.

Candidates should have 10+ years in I&C, knowledge of process controls, and OSHA 30 certification, plus proficiency in

Qualifications

• 10+ years of instrumentation and controls construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of process controls, automation systems, sensors, and monitoring systems.
• Experience on data center, industrial, manufacturing, or high-tech construction projects preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution of I&C and BMS installation activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, craft labor, and project teams.
• Monitor schedules, productivity, quality, and safety performance.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, inspections, and project documentation.
• Resolve constructability, design, and field installation issues.
• Support project cost control, forecasting, and client communication.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety requirements.
