Job summary

OnQCx is seeking an experienced I&C / BMS Construction Manager to oversee installation, integration, and commissioning of instrumentation and building management systems on a large-scale, mission-critical project. You will lead on-site subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and drive successful turnover of critical control systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience focused on controls, automation, and building systems.
• Experience on mission-critical projects like data centers or advanced manufacturing.
• Understanding of I&C systems and BMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site supervision of subcontractors for I&C and BMS.
• Coordinate interfaces between process utilities, electrical/mechanical, and IT/OT networks.
• Ensure compliance with codes and project specs.
• Conduct daily walkdowns and inspections.
• Support commissioning activities.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, redlines, and as-built docs.
• Report progress, risks, and mitigation to leadership.
• Promote safety-first culture per EHS requirements.
