Job summary

World Wide Professional Solutions is seeking an I&C Area Superintendent for a major semiconductor construction project in Chandler, Arizona. You will lead field execution of instrumentation, controls, and life safety systems, coordinating multiple work packages, trades, and interfaces to ensure safe, on-time turnover.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction/engineering with I&C or Life Safety systems
• Experience leading area-level field teams on large projects
• Semiconductor/advanced manufacturing or mission-critical facilities preferred
• Strong knowledge of PLC, DDC, BMS, SCADA, and low-voltage controls
• Ability to interpret schematics, P&IDs, and installation documents
• Proven track record for look-ahead planning, risk management, and turnover

Responsibilities

• Own field execution of I&C and LSS scopes within the assigned area
• Provide area-level leadership for superintendents and trade partners
• Lead daily coordination, look-ahead planning, and look-ahead reporting
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and access to maintain progress
• Serve as field authority for control systems interfaces and safety infrastructure
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and commissioning teams to resolve interfaces
• Review drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and field change documentation
• Identify risks and resolve design conflicts with stakeholders
• Lead QA/QC inspections, walkdowns, and turnover documentation
• Mentor field leaders and promote safety culture
• Escalate risks and propose mitigations to senior supervisors
