Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking a senior hyperscale solutions leader in Madison, WI. You will guide large, build-to-suit data center engagements, oversee design, engineering, and proposal development, and partner across Sales, Engineering, Construction, and Marketing to craft technically rigorous, commercially compelling responses.

The role requires hands-on hyperscale engagement experience, CFD interpretation, and strong knowledge of power, cooling, and data center topology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science required; equivalent technical military service considered.
• 5+ years of overall experience in data center solution design or related engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years direct experience engaging Hyperscale customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical lead for Hyperscale engagements, aligning data center solutions with customer requirements.
• Lead cross-functional response teams for RFP/RFI submissions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Present Prime's architecture, delivery methodology, and capabilities to clients in line with procurement culture.
• Interpret CFD outputs and translate results into actionable narratives for customers.
• Coordinate Bluebeam markup sessions to review designs and drive real-time alignment.
• Explain on-site power generation and resiliency designs to support technical due diligence.
• Support delivery teams to ensure on-schedule completion of commitments.
• Maintain internal library of RFP responses and specification documents.
• Own PowerPoint deliverables for Solutions Engineering and maintain Salesforce records.
• Mentor junior Solutions Engineers on engagement methodology and proposal development.
