Job summary

Cognisant in Washington DC or Dallas seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer to act as the primary technical advisor for data center infrastructure. You will translate complex tenant requirements into scalable colocation and data center solutions, leading technical discussions with hyperscale and AI operators.

You will drive GPU/HPC deployment planning and optimize power and cooling while owning end-to-end solution leadership from concept to contract execution and presenting to tenant executives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5+ years in data center design, construction, commissioning, operations, or presales engineering.
• Experience supporting hyperscale, neoscaler, or AI tenants.

Responsibilities

• GPU and HPC deployment planning.
• Power, cooling, and capacity optimization.
• Customer discovery and technical solution ownership.
• Executive-level engagement with hyperscale and AI operators.
• End-to-end solution leadership from concept through contract execution.
• Present to tenant executives, architects, and technical stakeholders as a trusted advisor throughout the deal cycle.
