Job summary

Healogics, Inc. in Middlesboro, KY is seeking a part-time Hyperbaric Safety Director to oversee hyperbaric oxygen therapy operations, safety programs, and the maintenance of hyperbaric chambers.

Reporting to the Program Director, you will ensure compliance with CMS and NFPA standards, conduct safety drills, evaluate equipment, and guide staff in safe decompression procedures to protect patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• CHT/CHS certification preferred.
• Introductory HBO safety course pre- or post-hire.
• State-appropriate healthcare professional license as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform hyperbaric chamber operator duties and assist with patient education and preparation.
• Administer HBO therapy as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Document daily hyperbaric treatments and wound care visits.
• Operate and maintain hyperbaric chamber and related systems.
• Lead the hyperbaric safety program and conduct safety drills.
