Job summary

Jacobs in Wilson/Cary, NC seeks an experienced Hygienic Piping Superintendent to lead daily planning at the site and ensure the right materials, people and safety standards are in place. You’ll manage teams, coordinate with owners and designers, and drive safe, efficient execution on pharma/epc environments.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in construction, with piping experience and strong communication, planning, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
At least 8 years of construction site experience.
At least 8 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager.
Experience Mechanical piping and Utility Piping.

Responsibilities

Lead daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site.
Ensure materials, equipment and personnel are available to complete work safely.
Lead safety initiatives and oversee health and well-being of the team.
Coordinate with owners, designers and contractors in walkdowns, reviews and meetings.
Oversee turnover processes, TOPs, punch lists and project handover.
