Job summary

Jacobs in Wilson, NC is seeking an experienced Piping/Mechanical Superintendent to lead daily scheduling, planning, and on-site coordination, ensuring the right materials, equipment and people are in place to deliver safe, quality projects.

You will supervise field staff, drive constructability reviews, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with design and commissioning teams to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
• At least 8 years of construction site experience.
• At least 8 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager.
• Experience with HVAC and Mechanical Plumbing piping and ductwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site.
• Ensure the right materials, equipment, and people are on site to get the job done.
• Safely manage teams and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate walkdowns, reviews, and constructability meetings with owners and designers.
