Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the execution of multiple transmission and distribution projects. You will coordinate with internal and external teams to manage the full project lifecycle, including safety, schedule, budget, and client experience.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days in the office and two remote. A generous relocation package may be available depending on location and eligibility.

Qualifications

• BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program or a management/business degree.
• 10+ years of experience in the electric utility industry (engineering, construction, planning, etc.).
• 7+ years of experience specifically in Project Management of Utility Transmission projects.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead role.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of multiple transmission and distribution projects.
• Coordinate with multiple internal and external departments to manage project life cycle.
• Own all aspects of project performance including safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and client experience.
• Direct the project team and mentor team members.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client leads and stakeholders.
• Lead efforts to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Support reporting of KPIs for schedule, budget, and other dashboards.
• Identify and control construction risk and change.
• Communicate with stakeholders and supervisors; prepare clear project reports.
