Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead the execution of multiple transmission and distribution projects in a hybrid work arrangement. The role involves coordinating with internal and external departments to manage project life cycles from planning to closeout.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in the electric utility sector, with 7+ years in transmission project management, strong communication, and ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program or a management/business degree.
• 10+ years of experience in the electric utility industry (engineering, construction, planning, etc.).
• 7+ years of experience specifically in Project Management of Utility Transmission projects.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead role.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities is critical to success.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute multiple transmission and distribution projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments through project life-cycle.
• Oversee project execution, contract administration, planning and resource management.
• Own all aspects of project performance: safety, schedule, budget, reporting, client experience.
