Job summary

Qumulo is seeking a senior technical resource to partner with Sales and customers across the full sales cycle, designing file storage and data management architectures for workloads across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud. The role involves hands-on collaboration with infrastructure teams, storage admins, architects, and application owners.

You will translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions across file services, backup/archive, analytics, AI/ML, and cloud-adjacent

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a customer‑facing technical role in software/storage/tech.
• Leads complex pre‑Sales engagements end to end with measurable results.
• Strong grounding in enterprise storage and unstructured data across on‑prem and cloud (NFS/SMB/object).
• Experience with hybrid cloud solutions and cloud integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship from discovery to architecture sign-off.
• Partner with account teams to qualify deals and shape technical strategies for unstructured data.
• Design and validate solutions for file services, backup/archive, analytics, AI/ML, and cloud-adjacent apps.
• Design architectures addressing multi-site collaboration, cloud integration, DR, data lifecycle.
• Build credibility with infrastructure teams and application owners.
• Develop the technical toolkit: reference architectures, demos, solution briefs, competitive positioning.
