Sarela Technology Solutions LLC in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Hybrid Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to design, implement, and sustain secure hybrid cloud solutions across Azure and AWS for DoD programs. The role requires Top Secret/SCI eligibility and hands-on cloud engineering leadership.

You will architect greenfield environments, lead IaC with Terraform and ARM templates, manage Intune and Defender suites, and work with cybersecurity teams to ensure RMF compliance and Zero Trust principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience; advanced degrees may substitute.
• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security or equivalent).
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• 5+ years architecting and implementing enterprise cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, engineer, and implement secure hybrid cloud solutions on Azure and AWS.
• Design and deploy greenfield cloud environments for DoD missions.
• Develop secure, scalable cloud architectures aligned with DoD guidance and Zero Trust.
• Design and implement IaC using Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Administer Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Server, Defender for Cloud, Purview, and AVD.
• Engineer secure networking integrating on-prem with cloud environments.
• Implement cloud monitoring, backup, DR, and security services.
• Automate deployments using PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, and AWS CLI.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and systems teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support accreditation and RMF compliance per NIST guidance.
