Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a software engineer to develop and integrate real-time missile HWIL flight simulators. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineers to understand requirements and deliver software that controls hardware-in-the-loop facilities.

The role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience, strong C++/Python skills, embedded systems and Linux/VxWorks experience, and an active Secret clearance. Onsite work in Tucson with relocation consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience across Agile software lifecycle in multiple areas listed.
• Embedded software/OS experience, real-time systems skills.
• Active and transferable Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop software to control Hardware-In-the-Loop facilities for missiles.
• Design, code and integrate in a real-time environment.
• Define end-user needs and ensure hardware/software standards.
