Job summary

RTX's Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Department in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, build and integrate real-time missile flight simulators and support tactical software development and delivery.

You will collaborate with weapon system designers, ensuring hardware and software standards, and contribute to build procedures and software quality. A DoD Secret clearance and a STEM bachelor's degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other STEM field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in software engineering for real-time systems.
• Experience with Agile software development lifecycle and multiple languages.
• Active and transferable DoD Secret clearance is required before start.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team to develop software for HWIL missile flight simulators.
• Real-time software design, coding and integration.
• Analyze end-user needs to tailor system capabilities and data acquisition.
• Ensure hardware and software standards are met and build procedures are implemented.
