Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a HWIL Engineer to operate the Hardware in the Loop Testbed, coordinate integration objectives, and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with Navigation, Guidance & Control and Flight Software teams.

The role involves driving test script enhancements, verifying baselines, and maintaining documentation with strong organizational skills. Occasional coordination across multiple engineering groups is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience on a software development program.
• Experience with integrating and testing hardware/software products or equivalent technical experience.
• Python development experience.
• C++ development experience.
• US Citizenship Required. Must obtain Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Understand and operate the Hardware in the Loop Testbed, including configurations, tools, and processes.
• Develop and coordinate integration objectives, integrate HWIL test bed components, and troubleshoot issues.
• Drive enhancements to end to end test scripts and simulation updates.
• Work with Navigation, Guidance & Control, Flight Software development, and HWIL teams to ensure compliance with standards.
• Support regression testing, CR check outs, and verify software baselines.
• Collaborate with engineering groups to resolve technical problems and maintain documentation.
• Uphold rigorous standards and processes with strong organizational and communication skills.
