Job summary

Lockheed Martin’s Testbed & Simulation team is seeking a Software Interface Engineer to design, develop, verify, and deploy complex software and hardware simulation systems for mission-critical programs. You will participate in full project lifecycles, including HWIL testbeds, within a fast-paced, highly dynamic group of about 120+ engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field.
Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python.
Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
U.S. citizen; able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop embedded C/C++ software, including drivers, wrappers, and interface layers connecting hardware with simulation and testbed software.
Integrate, troubleshoot, and support HWIL/testbed solutions in a lab environment.
Coordinate software development across hardware, software, systems, and integration teams.
Debug integration issues across hardware/software boundaries (communication, timing, configuration, testbed anomalies).
