Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Risk Opportunity Manager for a major HVDC consortium project in the Stafford area. You will lead end‑to‑end risk and opportunity management, establish governance, drive mitigation actions and present insights to senior leaders across an international team.

You will own risk registers, perform QSRA/QCRA, manage change controls, and champion data‑driven decision making to protect cost, schedule and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant project Risk and Opportunity management experience within EPC, energy, infrastructure or similar.
• Experience operating risk/OP processes within consortium, JV, alliance or multi‑party projects.
• Experience delivering Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis and Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement and improve Risk & Opportunity management at consortium level with governance alignment.
• Maintain and monitor the project Risk & Opportunity register and drive mitigation actions.
• Lead identification, assessment and realisation of cost savings, avoidance and value creation initiatives.
• Deliver QSRA and QCRA analyses and translate results into actionable recommendations.
• Lead project change-control with visibility of cost, schedule, and risk implications.
• Facilitate risk reviews and governance forums with senior stakeholders.
• Develop dashboards and governance info for senior leadership.
