Job summary

Fieldpiece Instruments is seeking a Product Category Director to own strategy, vision, and long-term roadmaps for a key HVACR portfolio. You will analyze technicians, contractors, and market trends to guide investments and product development across hardware, software, and AI-enabled solutions.

The role partners with Engineering, Design, Program Management, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to drive commercialization, lifecycle management, and portfolio growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a STEM field is required.
• 5+ years of leadership in product management, engineering, or related roles.
• Experience leading products through full lifecycle for global markets.
• Ability to balance roadmap ownership and investment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, roadmap, and business performance for a strategic product portfolio.
• Develop customer and market insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Define product vision, positioning, and long-term roadmaps.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to bring products to market.
• Build business cases and guide future investment decisions.
• Lead Voice of Customer initiatives and translate insights into solutions.
• Monitor trends and drive portfolio success.
