Job summary
Fieldpiece is seeking a Senior Upstream Product Manager - Connected Solutions to shape hardware, firmware, and connected software roadmap for HVACR products. You’ll translate VOC, market trends, and customer feedback into product strategy and collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing to drive successful launches.
The role is based in Orange County, CA with a hybrid work model, three days on site per week, and an expectation to work cross-functionally across Fieldpiece's connected
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline.
- 10+ years of upstream product management, product marketing, or product strategy experience.
- Strong technical background with connected or IoT products across hardware, firmware and software.
Responsibilities
- Develop product strategy for hardware, firmware, and connected software solutions.
- Identify market opportunities through VOC research, field engagement, and competitive analysis.
- Partner with engineering to define product requirements, priorities, and roadmaps.
- Build business cases to guide product investment decisions.
- Lead products from concept through commercialization.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and successful product launches.
- Collaborate across engineering, sales, marketing, finance, and operations to deliver customer solutions.
