Job summary

Harp Home Services in Windsor, CT and HD Air in Springfield, MA is seeking a dynamic HVAC Technical Trainer to join our team. The role focuses on delivering hands-on training, developing programs, and raising performance across our service teams.

Ideal candidates have at least 7 years of HVAC service experience, 5 years of training and development, EPA Type II or Universal Certification, and the ability to teach schematics. A valid driver's license is required for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs focused on HVAC/R systems, equipment repair, and property maintenance.
• Create instructional materials that include schematics and technical documentation to enhance learning experiences.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions that allow participants to practice skills in real-world scenarios.
• Assess trainees’ understanding of technical concepts through evaluations and feedback.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology to ensure training content is current.
• Collaborate with management to identify training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and feedback for continuous improvement.
