Job summary

Harp Home Services in Windsor, CT and HD Air in Springfield, MA are seeking an experienced HVAC Technical Trainer to join our team. The role develops and delivers training programs, creates instructional materials, and conducts hands-on sessions for our HVAC technicians across CT and MA.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years in HVAC Training & Development and 7+ years in HVAC Service, with EPA Type II/Universal Certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years HVAC Training & Development experience.
• Minimum 7 years HVAC Service experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification.
• Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC equipment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs focused on HVAC/R systems, equipment repair, and property maintenance.
• Create instructional materials with schematics and technical documentation.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions in real-world settings.
• Assess trainees' understanding through evaluations and feedback.
• Stay updated on HVAC industry trends and advancements.
• Collaborate with management to identify training needs and tailor programs.
• Maintain records of training sessions and participant progress.
