Job summary

CleanSpace is seeking a seasoned HVAC lead to travel to various job sites, supervise technicians, and oversee troubleshooting and repair of commercial HVAC and multi-zone systems with integrated controls.

The role includes developing modification plans, estimating remodels, and ensuring safety and compliance with project regulations. A Journeyman refrigeration license and EPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to prepare engineering documents, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
• Ability to lead and train staff and/or students.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints and/or technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC technicians in troubleshooting and repair of commercial systems.
• Develop modification plans and estimates for remodels.
• Create preventive maintenance checklists for new equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and propose system modifications for remodels.
• Research and select materials for HVAC installations and maintenance.
• Promote safety and environmental practices in the workplace.
• Travel to job sites for installation and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain and pass pre-employment background checks and certifications as required.
