Job summary

Ambient is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to travel nationally, performing start-up, service and maintenance of HVAC equipment for a range of applications. You will troubleshoot systems, repair failures, and ensure high-quality customer service across sites nationwide.

The role requires 3+ years of field experience with commercial HVAC, knowledge of air conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps and rooftop units, EPA Type 1/2 (or universal) certification, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 3+ years field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning.
• Knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps & rooftop packaged HVAC systems.
• EPA Type 1 & 2 or universal certification.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Flexibility for extended travel (up to 75%).
• OSHA 10-hour training certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Service, start-up and maintenance of HVAC equipment for various applications nationwide.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with customers to schedule service calls and document work performed.
