Job summary

Ameritech Facility Services LLC seeks a Lead Mechanical HVAC Tech - Traveling to manage and perform installation and replacement of commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units and refrigeration equipment. You will lead a crew, coordinate with Project Managers, and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.

Requires EPA certification, 3+ years of experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and travel 75-100% of the time.

Qualifications

EPA Certification is required.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to use hand tools.
Demonstrated ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
Ability to complete projects on time and under budget.
General knowledge of all trades.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
Must have a valid email address.

Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager/Superintendents with managing and completing building, demolition, removal and/or installation of equipment and general construction tasks.
Lead a crew of technicians and communicate project scope to crew.
Coordinate with customers and store personnel to review projects and ensure scope adherence.
Source and coordinate sub-contractors as needed and manage project timelines.
Maintain safety and cleanliness on site and ensure proper paperwork and reports are completed.
