Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician in Charleston, SC to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, AHUs, RTUs, and VRF systems.

You will support BAS/BMS controls and lead complex repair projects while mentoring junior technicians. The role requires EPA Universal Certification, 4+ years of HVAC experience, and the ability to interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Strong experience with chillers, HVAC controls/BMS, refrigeration, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background screening and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, AHUs, RTUs, VRF systems, and cooling towers.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
• Support and maintain Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS) and HVAC control systems.
• Lead complex repair projects, mentor junior technicians, and provide technical guidance.
• Complete work orders, inspections, and maintenance documentation while ensuring OSHA and EPA compliance.
