Job summary

Airite, Inc. is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to install, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment across our service area in South Carolina.

Expect to process work orders, troubleshoot systems, and coordinate with customers daily. The candidate should have five years of refrigeration experience, HVAC 608 certification, brazing and soldering skills, and the ability to read blueprints and compliance schematics.

Qualifications

• Requires experience installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Reading and understanding electrical and wiring diagrams is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions and lift heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process work orders and complete assigned tasks.
• Interact with customers on a daily basis to communicate status and needs.
• Order equipment supplies and repair components as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics.
• Install and repair HVAC equipment, chillers, air dryers, ice makers, and related air treatment products.
• Install aluminum modular piping and test newly installed systems.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration equipment, dryers, and air treatment failures.
