Job summary

Comfort Systems USA, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Service Technician IV to lead complex commercial and industrial HVAC systems. You will diagnose advanced mechanical, electrical, refrigerant, and control issues, mentor other technicians, and manage critical customer relationships.

Qualifications

• HVAC service experience required, minimum 10 years.
• Master-level expertise with high-efficiency, multizone, industrial-grade equipment.
• Troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• 5+ years in advanced controls/automation including building automation & direct digital control systems.
• EPA certification and Texas TDLR registration required.
• Strong customer-service mindset and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, integrity and quality; able to pass drug screen and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Service screw and centrifugal chillers, air-cooled chillers, and advanced equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical and refrigerant issues.
• Support HVAC maintenance, repair, and equipment replacement with customers.
• Mentor technicians and provide technical guidance.
• Communicate conditions, work performed, and follow-up needs clearly to customers and leadership.
• Maintain documentation, tools, vehicle, and work area in safe, professional condition.
