National Mechanical Experts Inc. is seeking a dynamic HVAC Service Technician to join our Charleston, SC team. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems, delivering high-quality work while fostering strong customer relationships.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on problem solving, and ongoing development through training and mentoring apprentices within our service team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Trade school training or equivalent experience preferred.
Universal EPA Certification required.
Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment and systems.
Respond to emergency service calls and minimize system downtime.
Maintain appropriate vehicle inventory to complete repairs efficiently.
Complete maintenance logs and job documentation accurately and on time.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding work performed and recommendations.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships and identify potential service needs.
Ensure all work meets company standards, manufacturer guidelines, and applicable codes.
