Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Industrial HVAC Technician in Saint Joseph, MO to join a facilities maintenance team. You will diagnose, service, and repair refrigerant-based HVAC equipment including chillers, DX units, heat pumps, and RTUs, with a safety-first approach.

EPA 608 Universal certification and 3–5 years of hands-on experience are required. You will work with BAS/BMS systems (Johnson Controls, Trane, Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider) and CMMS for maintenance records, with a reliable

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal) required.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience servicing refrigerant-based HVAC systems.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams; knowledge of safety procedures.
• Experience with BAS/BMS such as Johnson Controls, Trane, Siemens, Honeywell, or Schneider.
• Comfort using CMMS and strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair refrigerant-based HVAC equipment including chillers, DX units, heat pumps, and RTUs.
• Perform refrigerant recovery, charging, leak detection, brazing, and compressor repairs per EPA and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot HVAC electrical components, low-voltage controls, sensors, and building automation systems.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance inspections, document findings and repairs, and track refrigerant usage.
• Support startups, commissioning activities, and functional testing for new or upgraded equipment.
