Job summary
LG Electronics in the United States is seeking a Lead Area Technical Specialist to act as a senior technical authority for HVAC contractors, distributors and manufacturer representatives. You will lead and mentor a team of Area Technical Field Specialists, ensuring technical excellence and aligned regional service and training.
Key duties include interpreting wiring schematics, troubleshooting VRF systems, coordinating training initiatives, and delivering training sessions.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in leadership of HVAC field activity or technical support.
- 3–5 years supporting LG VRF & RLC systems.
- Deep LG Commercial/Residential system knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Interpret wiring schematics and VRF system troubleshooting.
- Coordinate jobsite visits and develop training materials.
- Lead and mentor Area Technical Field Specialists.
- Deliver technical training sessions (min 12/year).
- Manage Service Champions program and regional support plans.
- Travel up to 75% across the territory.
