Job summary
LG Electronics USA seeks an Area Technical Specialist to serve as a key technical resource for HVAC Contractors, Distributors, and Manufacturer Representatives. You will interpret wiring diagrams, troubleshoot VRF systems, and coordinate updates and training to ensure customer satisfaction.
The role requires extensive field involvement, collaboration with engineering and sales teams, and the ability to travel regionally to support LG HVAC equipment and service champions.
Qualifications
- HVAC vocational diploma or higher preferred.
- 15–20 years in HVAC or technical support.
- 3–5 years supporting LG VRF & RLC systems.
- Able to travel up to 75%.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with MS Office.
Responsibilities
- Develop regional service support strategies.
- Interface with owners, general contractors, and reps on technical matters.
- Provide direct technical guidance by phone, email, and case support.
- Read and interpret wiring schematics and VRF diagrams.
- Coordinate with engineering and controls teams to resolve issues.
- Lead training sessions and create technical materials.
