Job summary

LG Electronics USA is seeking an Area Technical Specialist to serve as a key technical resource for HVAC contractors, distributors and manufacturer representatives. You will interpret wiring schematics, troubleshoot VRF systems, and lead technical training while coordinating jobsite visits to support regional success and customer satisfaction.

This role requires deep LG VRF & RLC knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 75% to support residential and commercial

Qualifications

• HVAC education and 15–20 years field experience.
• Experience supporting LG VRF & RLC systems in a technical role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional service support strategies and actions.
• Manage aftermarket support activities within the region.
• Interface with building owners and contractors on technical matters.
• Provide direct technical guidance via phone, email, and case support.
• Read and interpret wiring schematics and VRF diagrams for customers.
• Coordinate with support and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Schedule onsite service, training, and installation support.
• Create and distribute technical training materials.
