Job summary

Tennessee Board of Regents seeks an HVAC Supervisor to oversee skilled trades repairs and preventive maintenance on refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, ventilation and air handling equipment across campus facilities.

Reporting to the Manager of Facilities, you will supervise HVAC mechanics, troubleshoot complex systems with CCMS controls, calibrate thermostats, install equipment, and prepare weekly status reports to the Facilities Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Universal EPA Certification.
• Journeyman level HVAC licensure.
• Five (5) years of experience in HVCR repair and maintenance for large building application or commercial HVAC equipment and systems.
• A valid Tennessee driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial air conditioning and HVAC systems with pneumatic, digital, and central energy management system controls.
• Supervise HVAC mechanics and ensure proper repair procedures.
• Maintain CCMS data entry and weekly status reporting for Facilities Manager.
• Install, replace, or repair equipment including thermostats, ductwork, and refrigerant systems.
• Support construction projects affecting HVAC equipment or systems and perform safety-compliant maintenance.
