Job summary

Airocide Systems seeks a Senior HVAC Applications Engineer to quote and sell HVAC solutions for commercial and healthcare facilities. This hands-on role sits at the center of our sales process, auditing facilities, spec’ing air handlers, and turning coil, airflow, and static-pressure data into installable quotes.

As a startup, you will build processes from scratch, wear multiple hats, and thrive with rapid pace.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of quoting, specifying, and helping sell technical HVAC solutions.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial air handlers, airflow, and static pressure.
• Proven ability to audit a facility and translate it into an accurate quote that wins the deal.
• Excellent communication skills; credible with facility engineers, contractors, and executives.
• Based in or open to relocating to the Atlanta metro (on-site role).

Responsibilities

• Lead audits and quoting for HVAC solutions across commercial and healthcare facilities, from a single rooftop unit to complex multi-hundred-unit installations.
• Survey and spec air handlers, capturing coil dimensions, airflow, static pressure, and unit model/manufacturer, and turn that into accurate, installable quotes.
• Build the testing and ROI evidence (energy impact, performance, and total cost of ownership) that proves the value to customers.
• Drive the sales process by translating technical facility audits into clear, compelling quotes that close.
• Standardize our audit and quoting process so it scales beyond any one person.
• Serve as the technical point person on HVAC airflow, static pressure, filtration, and UVC / UV-lighting, and support engineers, contractors, and channel partners in the field.
