Daikin Applied seeks a full-time HVAC Service Technician IV in the Washington DC area. You will lead up to 10 technicians and oversee maintenance contract start-ups and on-site installations. You will mentor teammates and ensure service quality across commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

The role involves scheduling, safety training per OSHA and Daikin policies, and frequent local travel with some overnight stays. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's Degree or HVAC certification is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and oversight for up to 10 HVAC technicians.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective start-up of maintenance contracts and installation of jobs.
• Review contracts/projects and negotiate subcontract agreements as needed.
• Use the Service Management System to plan work and ensure contract requirements are met.
• Inspect equipment for preventive maintenance and ensure safe operation.
• Respond to service calls and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Assist Sales with site surveys and provide technical training.
• Promote safety and OSHA compliance on site.
• Provide feedback and participate in technician evaluations.
