Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician IV to join our Washington DC/Baltimore area team. You will lead up to 10 technicians, manage maintenance contracts, and ensure timely installations while delivering skilled service on rooftop units, boilers, chillers, and more.

You will mentor junior technicians, review estimates, support sales efforts, and uphold safety standards on every job. Local travel and some overnight stays are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related HVAC service experience with increasing responsibility.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred and OSHA 10 preferred.
• Ability to mentor junior technicians and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for up to 10 HVAC technicians.
• Ensure timely start-up and installation of maintenance contracts per requirements.
• Review contracts/projects and negotiate subcontract agreements as needed.
• Use Service Management System to plan work and meet commitments.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections on equipment under contract.
• Respond to emergency service calls and guide repairs to minimize downtime.
• Support Sales with site surveys and accuracy of estimates; participate in training.
• Promote safety and OSHA compliance; lead safety trainings.
• Travel locally with some overnight travel.
