Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a veteran HVAC Service Technician IV to join the Washington DC/Bowie region team. Youll lead up to 10 technicians, oversee timely start-up and installation of maintenance contracts, and service a range of equipment from large rooftops to boilers and chillers.

You'll provide expert troubleshooting, coaching, and leadership, ensuring safety compliance and high customer satisfaction as you help keep systems running at peak performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate’s Degree or HVAC certification preferred.
• 7+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent combination.
• Valid driverense and acceptable driving record.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for up to 10 HVAC technicians.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective start-up of maintenance contracts and installation of jobs per contract requirements.
• Review contracts/projects and negotiate subcontract agreements as required.
• Use the Service Management System to plan work and maximize team capabilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and ensure equipment reliability.
• Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot/repair equipment.
• Support Sales with job-site surveys and estimates reviews.
• Promote safety and OSHA compliance; provide safety training.
• Provide proactive feedback and participate in performance evaluations.
• Stay current on Daikin Applied products; travel locally with overnight stays.
