Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking an HVAC Service Technician III for an onsite role in Houston, TX. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including rooftops, chillers, water source heat pumps, and boilers.

Lead rebuilds and mentor junior techs while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The role requires 5+ years of related experience or 7+ years, EPA Universal Certification where applicable, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• HVAC certificate or equivalent education/experience required.
• Five+ years related experience with increasing responsibility or seven+ years.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification required where applicable.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial/industrial HVAC equipment.
• Repair components for fans, chillers, water source heat pumps, AHUs, rooftops and condensers.
• Inspect systems to prevent breakdowns and analyze chiller trend data.
• Lead rebuilds and retrofits, mentoring Level I and II technicians.
• Document billing, inventory, and timecards accurately and promptly.
• Communicate status to customers and explain technical info clearly.
